Page information

Body
The present invention relates to a workpiece feeding device comprising a simple configuration of two gripping elements, which enables a simple and quick setup of the device corresponding to the dimensions of the workpiece and enables efficient machining operations on a series of automatic lathes.
Prior technologies were not applicable to small workpiece materials, and adjusting the trivet's splay to fit the workpiece was cumbersome and time-consuming.
The present invention relates to a workpiece material feeding device installed on a turret of an automatic lathe and comprising a plurality of tongs and an elastic member,
a pincer comprising two pincer members hingedly joined for gripping the workpiece material;
a spring disposed between the two pincer members for spreading the pincer members apart;
a pin for engagingly supporting said pincer members;
a fulcrum provided on the hinge side of said pincer and configured as a cone and for adjusting the spread of said pincer by pushing on one end of said pincer;
an adjuster comprising a conical end corresponding to the conical end of said fulcrum and screwedly coupled to said support for adjusting movement of said fulcrum;
a pincer member installation groove for installing and supporting said pincers, with pin holes provided on both sides of said pincer member installation groove for installing pins of said pincers, and a fulcrum groove for installing and operating said fulcrum in connection with said pincer member installation groove, a support comprising a pincer mounting portion formed at right angles to the end of said support groove and provided with threaded holes for threading said adjuster, and a predetermined length of rod mounting portion for mounting on the turret.
